crc error

dear All, I am backing up the pst file of outlook 2002 . now I cannot copy -
either with outlook backup utility or copying it simply- this file as "crc
redunadancy error" appears. Can you suggest me how to recover this
situation? thanks in advance. Enrico.

Sounds like a bad sector on your hard disk. Try running Chkdsk /r from a DOS prompt.
