Creating templates

I've searched everywhere for an answer to this - I hope
someone here can help me!

I have created several templates in MS Publisher which
I'd like to share with someone else. How can I move these
templates to another computer? It appears as if it's
hidden within the Application Data folder and whenever I
try to save it as a template on a disk, the computer acts
as if it's saving it there, but nothing happens. I can't
seem to attach it as an email either.

Which version of Publisher are you
using??????????????????????????????????????????????

With Publisher 2002 C:\Documents and Settings\DA\Application
Data\Microsoft\Templates\Your Template Name.pub

With Publisher 97 C:\Program Files\Microsoft Publisher\TEMPLATE\Normal.pub

I've tried from 2 different computers - MS Publisher 2000
&/or Publisher Deluxe both on Windows XP.

I go to C:\Documents and Settings but the problem is
the "Application Data" folder seems to be hidden, so I
can't locate the templates to move their location or
attach to an email.
I tried a search then dragged & dropped the templates
onto a disk, but the files were converted to documents
rather than templates.

Renee Templates are just Publisher 'document' files. It is only be placing
them in the Template folder that when you go to SAVE THEM, they bring up the
dialogue box automatically to save them with normal file name.

You can go to START, SETTINGS, CONTROL PANEL, FOLDER OPTIONS and then TAB
VIEW and change the settings to see all the files and folders. It is always
one of the first things I do when installing any version of Windows. It is
not smart of MS not to show those folders as it does not allow users to find
and backup their templates.
