Customizing

I have recently discovered the ability to customize fields, but can find no
general descriptions of operatoins I can use like IIF, Switch, etc. Can
anyone point me to some good reference material?

I believe your best source of information about creating formulas in custom
fields is the Help articles about formulas. Best of all, the information is
free! Hope this helps.
