Cutting and Pasting

I have Publisher 2000 and I am trying to cut and paste into it from other
applications. I have had no problem doing this up until yesterday. I must
have hit a button or something because now the only thing it will paste is
items copied inside the document only. If I copy a picture or anything from
outside the document and then hit paste in the document it wont' grab that
item rather will paste the last thing selected inside the document itself.
It will "insert" a picture that is accurate but I need the copy and paste
feature. HELP!!!

Are you getting an error? Have you tried a detect and repair?
What program are you trying to paste from? Can you drag and drop from the
outside application?

I am not getting any kind of an error. I have done this time and time again
before I just don't know why it won't let me do it now. I am coping pictures
or text from word documents to it. It is only happening with this one
document which is why I think something is funny or I hit I setting I didn't
know about. I created the document from scratch too.

You may have some corruption going on. Can you insert pictures okay?
