Database doesn't work

Hi to all,
Can anyone help me out with the following,;
I created a website locally with a msAccess database stored in /FPDB
within the website, and some DBresultpages to get the data displayed.
It all works fine, local that is. Now according to my ISP i have to FTP
the site to my domain and it should work, ASP is enabled on the server.
However, when i open up an DBRpage (with .asp ext.) i keep getting
the following message:

GROEP
Database Results Wizard Error
The operation failed. If this continues, please contact your server
administrator.

So i contacted my ISP and he resetted my account, (things like this have
always worked b4)
I also browsed the microsoft website for this and can't seem to get it
working
In my opinion something must be 'wrong' with the global.asa file and/or the
files in
the _fpclass dir.
My ISP doesn't seem to be competent enough to help me out, maybe anyone
around
here knows a solution for this.

Thanks manytimes in advance for helping me out.

greets, Arthur

Is your site hosted on a Windows server? You need support for Access AND
ASP.

And if the site has the FP SE don't FTP,
publish using FP http mode
(so FP will create the required permissions on the fpdb folder)

Well, i worked before, (without the FP Se.ext)
I would like to able to use the FP.SeExt. but when
i enable them on my website, i can't FTP to my site anymore
so i have to use 'publish' in FP through HTTP://. Which
is ok but don't have any database functionality anymore.
(In Fpage-> Options->SiteSettings-> Database option is then disabled)
So for that matter i'm stuck with uploading through FTP.
I also got 2 DSN's from my ISP but i can't seem to use them
in Frontpage. (still wondering why)
Is there a possibility that i could just upload my .mdb file and
then create my website locally using that database, it's driving me slowly
insane. I'm am considering changing to a different Webhost but i need
to be sure that it would help.

Thanks again for any help.

In addition to my last reply,
I created a "testweb" with Frontpage2000 and uploaded it
the exact same way as i use to do with Frontpage 2003.
However i get a different error when i try to display the data
in a browser, This is what i get when creating with FP2000

Database Results Error
The database connection named 'catalog' is undefined.

This problem can occur if:
* the connection has been removed from the web
* the file 'global.asa' is missing or contains errors
* the root folder does not have Scripting permissions enabled
* the web is not marked as an Application Root

This is what i get when creating with FP2003

Database Results Wizard Error
The operation failed. If this continues, please contact your server
administrator.

Thnx
