You mean Debug.Assert ? for that, you need VBA6 (Access 2000). You also
have Debug.Print, that should work on any version. If you mean tone as in
Beep, as in sound, I doubt that function works since Windows 95. You may
take a look at (http://www.mvps.org/access/api/api0011.htm ) to play a
sound (or an AVI, or a midi file).
