Delete extra inbox

I have Microsoft Outlook 2003 SP3. I had two web-based email accounts that I
used Outlook to pull the email from. I have now closed one of the accounts. I
would like to get rid of one of the inboxes, but the main one appears to have
been connected to the account I closed. The option to close it is greyed out,
the account I left open does give me the option to close it. I have deleted
the profile to the closed account. When I look at the path for the open mail
account, Outlook indicates that it cannot find the path of the file, but it
is pulling my mail fine. I am not sure how to get rid of the extra inbox (and
all the other folders, calender, journal, notes, etc.).

If you deleted the mail profile then it should be gone as after all; you
deleted all mail configuration settings. I don't believe you deleted the
mail profile but only removed the account and apparently deleted a pst-file?

Sounds like you've corrupted your mail profile now. Recreate it as indicated
via;
