Detect and Repair Deleted all emails, calendar & task items

I recently changed my virus software to Symantec, and by so doing created an
error message every time I tried to open an email. Outlook was looking for
my old program.

The error message said that Detect and Repair should fix the problem.

I ran the detect and repair, and sure enough, the error message is gone...
and so is ALL of my emails, calendar items, and task items. Where did they
all go? How can I reverse this?

I appreciate all the help I can get here.

Are you using an Exchange Server or are you sending and receiving through
your ISP?

Your data is still avaiable. You should not set any checkboxes if
using detect and repair. All your office settings are now away (thats
what the second checkbox says and this checkbox is unset).

To get your data back, go in the control panel to the applet "Mail"
and set in your outlook profile your original pst-file ("Outlook.pst"
standard) as data file.
