Digitally signing an Excel Doc

At work we started using an excel weekly timesheet. In my line of work I
never use excel. Previously we just typed in our name no signature
necessary. Now we need to digitally sign document, which has several boxes
in which name address and signature need to go.

How do I sign this document?

I think you'll have to provide some more info. Digital signatures
typically are a string of digits that provide assurance that the file or
file fragment that it applies to actually came from you. They may be
integral with the file, or attached separately, but they don't usually
go in "boxes".

WinXL has the ability to apply digital signatures to files, but MacXL
doesn't. However, it doesn't sound like you're being asked for a WinXL
digital signature, either.
