Disable All Menu Items

I have a form in Access 2000 where I want to disable all menu items.
Basically, I want my users confined to the form and not allowed to use any
options other than what I have provided on the form. I have explored
permissions and security, but neither are a realistic option because I have
to e-mail the database to multiple users who have no shared server. I have
worked with options, so that all that is left is the standard menu bar and
the restore button. I need both of these to be disabled so that the users
cannot leave the form. I have tried a macro and the DoMenuItem method, but I
cannot seem to solve my issue. Does anyone have any ideas? Thank you in
advance for you help.

If you are talking about one form why don't you set it's properties to Pop Up
and Modal. That way the menubars aren't accessible at all and they are
'doomed' to your form. So set Pop Up and Model properties of the form to yes
and you should be on your way.

Thank you for the suggestion. I have tried that. Unfortunately, one of the
primary functions of the form is to preview reports. When I place the form
in pop up and modal, I cannot preview the reports online. Any other thoughts?

Create an .mde file and disable all the menubars in the startup options. What
are the users not allowed to use in the standard toolbar?

I basically need to give them a read only database. I do not want them to be
able to change any data in the tables. I only want them to be able to create
/ preveiw / print / export custom reports. The problem is, they do not have
access to the same network so I cannot house the database in a shared folder.
I have to e-mail it.

I created the .mde and I removed all of the menus from Start Up screen, but
the statndard menu is still present. Any thoughts?

OK. I have gotten to the point where all of the menu items are disabled.
But now when I preview a report and then close the report, I am returned to a
minimized form, with no way to restore it. How can I keep the form from
minimizing when I preview a report?
