Disconnect a mailbox

I have been monitoring a mail box from my Outlook. I dont
need to view this box anymore. I went into services in
outlook and removed the mailbox. But when I go into
folder list in outlook I still see the mail box even
though nothing is in services....

How can I clear this?

If you right click on the other mailbox and choose close, can you get it to
go away?
If not, I'd create a brand new mail profile and delete the old one.
