Does 'Save' also 'Publish' a schedule?

Michele

I have been told that selecting "Save" saves a schedule and also publishes
the tasks to the resources. Does anyone know if this is a true statement?
My assumption has always been that I can save a schedule as I am creating it
then publish it when I am ready.

Thanks,
Michele

In the future, please post your Project Server questions to the
microsoft.public.project.server newsgroup, as this newsgroup is devoted to
the Microsoft Project desktop application only. To answer your question,
no, saving does not publish the assignments. You must click Collaborate -
Publish - New and Changed Assignments or Collaborate - Publish - All
Information. Thus, you are correct. Hope this helps.

Thanks for your help Dale.

I am pretty new to all of this. You told me in the future to post my
questions in a different place. I've looked around the site but cannot find
where you want me to post questions.

Thanks again,
Michele
