Duplicate Personal Folder

I just installed 2003 on a new computer and copied over
my pst from the older computer. Outlook is now showing 2
mirror copies of the same pst. Any suggestions?

Can you R click and Close the duplicate?
If not, your choices are to edit the registry or just create a new Outlook
profile.
Never copy over a PST. Instead, configure your Outlook profile to use a
different PST.

Hello,

How did you copy it over? Here is what happened to me.

I've exported my Outlook to a cd-rom (from my old PC with
Windows 98 & Outlook 2000). I'm importing it into my new
PC (Windows XP & Outlook 2003). I get the following error
messsage "File access denied. You do not have permission
required to access the file F:\outlook backup.pst". What
step am I missing?
Any suggestions. Thanks

Did you miss moving the file to a hard drive and removing its read only
attribute?

Hello Neil,

The solution is very simple.
Your profile is corrupt.
Please create a new one and you will see only one personal folder.
