editing envelopes

i have installed Windows XP onto my computers, when using microsoft word it
wont let me edit any addresses i have entered, i click on properties and it
does nothing, so when business move i have to double up their names and hope
i pick the right address when printing envelopes. is there any way i can edit
the addresses i have entered? i've looked and cant seem to find any answers

How did you enter the address information? Did you do a Mail Merge and let
Word create the Recipient List or did you do it some other way?

I just do it the way i did before updating which was. Go to tools, letters
and mailing, envelopes and labels, then click insert address, new, new
contact then enter the details.

it worked fine before i upgraded, but since getting office XP i havent been
able to edit any addresses and i entered them all in new when i installed the
program.

Do you have Microsoft Outlook installed on the computer? If so, these should
be in your Contacts folder and should also be editable there.

Thankyou, just checked it out and it works and can now edit and delete ones
not needed. I never even thought about that!
