eMail Rules - help needed!

I have a mess of emails in my sent-items folder & I want
to delete most of them based on the Subject.
Now, I'm a newbie to these rules & I'm only able to get it
to send a copy to Deleted Items folder, while I really
just want to get it out of my way.

The goal is to get all of my Auto Responses out of my
SentItems folder so that I can find the important stuff
when I need it.

You'd have to turn off Outlook's option to automatically save sent messages
to the Sent Items folder then use the Rules Wizard to do all the copying of
items. You can create a rule (without item selection criteria) that will
catch any items that your other rules don't specifically catch
