event subscriptions being lost ...

event based subscriptions work fine as long as groove is put on every day,
but if the machine is not started for 1 day also all event subscriptions are
lost and groove does not refresh.... how do i tackle this problem.

Are you sure your event subscriptions are not expiring?

How are you setting them up?

yes events are expiring even if it has 90 days time left, let me explain our
method of doing subscriptinos:

i store subscription for a particular form in a database

in the background i continuously read events, whenever i get event of a
particular form i immediately update the subscription again for 90 days, so
events should never expire, they should always have 90 days left, with this
logic i think i do not have to re-subscribe for a subscription id

since last 30 days if any machine is not started for 24 hours, events get
expired

kindly advise

How strange. Are you 100% positive you're not cancelling the subscription,
somehow?

What happens if a space isn't updated for 100 days?

i am really in a fix, having developed a large system around groove - no the
subscriptions are not being cancelled and with our set-up i am sure to get
atleast 1 update from all my sites everyday so that end is also covered

i fetch data from groove into my database and also export data from database
to groove workspace, the databases are in Access.

I'm a bit constrained next week, but if you want to send me some code
snippets, I'll be happy to take a look.
