.exe file that allows hyperlinks to work in outlook and word

Does anyone know what .exe file in MS Office allows one to open a hyperlink
in an Outlook message? The same .exe file also allows hyperlinks to work in
Word.

I have restricted what programs are allowed to be open on my computer using
Access Manager. I need to know what the .exe file is that allows hyperlinks
to be opened in Outlook and Word, so that I can tell Access Manager to allow
that .exe file to be accessed.

Word an Outlook don't use an .exe for that. It's a system call that triggers
your default http:// protocol handler. If anything at all, you should allow
for the exe of your associated Internet Browser. For Internet Explorer that
would be iexplore.exe. If that doesn't work contact support for Access
Manager.

Ok. I will try to find more .exe files for my browser. However, it is strange
because also when I use hyperlinks within MSWord, it doesn't work. These are
hyperlinks for a table of contents that take you to parts of the MSWord
document. So it doesn't seem like it has anything to do with my Internet
browser. I am assuming that the .exe file is the same for allowing
hyperlinks from Outlook and Word, but perhaps it's not.
