File compatability between 2000 and 2002

I work between two computers one with Visio 2000 and
another with Visio 2002. When I take a file which
originated on the 2002 machine and open and modifiy and
save it on the 2000 machine, Visio 2002 hangs and will not
open the file. Visio must be stopped using the task
manager and reloaded. If I go back to the the 2000
machine the file opens correctly.

I thought the file structure was the same for Visio 2000
and 2002. Is there a way to save the file so Visio 2002
will read it.
