files from xp home edition sp2 required to use fax program

After major problem with a brand new Dell computer i want to use the fax
program
but have had this note on screen
`SOME FILES ON XP HOME EDITION SP2 ARE NEEDED` COPY FILES FROM D:\i386

as i am not a guru on the computer would some kind person be able to help

Did you go to Add/Remove/Windows, put a tick in Fax and then click on next
and then got this message or what?

Put the Windows CD in the CD drive. Additional Operating system question
should be posted to ther WinXP group or Dell Support.
