Filter automatically applied when opening a file

When I open a file, one of the filters is automatically
applied. I can't find a way to have the "all tasks"
turned back on as the default condition. Can anyone
answer this?

I have had the same problem and tried Jan's suggested
remedy but it didn't work--any other suggestions or ideas?

I found a solution: I opened the project organizer and
deleted the filter that was causing the problem. I saved,
closed and reopened and copied the filter back into the
project from the global file. Works perfectly and thanks
for your offer of help.
