Find lost clipboard

G

Guest

I was cutting a section of a Word file that had not yet
been saved, then did a cut in Outlook and when I went
back to Word, I lost the first cut.

Anyone know where this might have gone?

Thanks.

Into a black hole. But, if you have not yet saved the document, if you
click undo, it may re-appear.

Unless you have the Office Clipboard enabled, there is just one Clipboard
for all of Windows. Whatever you copy or cut in any Windows application
becomes the new Clipboard contents, replacing the previous selection.
