Formatting lost when copy pasting

I havea schedule all created and the duration for each task has a color code
for it along with a title. I am trying to Copy the entire schedule into a
new Project file but when I pastes it, it loses all of the formatting (colors
and titles). The reason I am copy and pasting is because I need to take 4
project schedules and put them into one but would like to keep the original
formatting.

This is with Project 2003.

Hi Dustin

Welcome to this Microsoft Project newsgroup :)

Formatting is provided by the parent project. I suggest you use Insert
Project rather than copy/paste as it's more durable and dynamic.

FAQs, companion products and other useful Project information can be seen at
this web address: http://project.mvps.org/faqs.htm

Hope this helps - please let us know how you get on :)
