Formulas inside Tables in Publisher 2003

I have no problem placing formulas in tables inside word. The problem comes
when attempting to place a formula in a table inside Publisher. When I go to
the "Table" listing, "Formula is not present.

Any help would be appricated.

In the US, both are accepted and formulas is preferred.
