Groove error when opening files

Groove 2007 was working fine on my laptop (and works fine on my other
computers), but suddenly it will not open up files. When trying to open a
file, I get an error which varies depending on the app. Here is the error
that comes up when trying to open a Word doc:
Error 1: "File Launch Failure: The file cannot be launched."
Error 2 (in behind first one): "word cannot open the document: user does not
have access privileges (C:\...\filename.docx)"

Note that I am a participant in the workspace and DO have permissions -
every file works on every other computer that I use my account on, but every
file will generate a launch failure error of some sort on this one laptop. I
have tried to remove the workspace from this laptop and re-add it; the
workspace downloads ok, but errors are the same.

My guess is that your AES key-ring, on your laptop has become corrupted.
Best advice is to do the following. Deelete Groove completly from your
laptop. Reboot, Run Defrag on Windows 3 times and then reoinstall compeltely.
That might not be the most eloquent solution but I think it will work
