Marc Dimmick

In Groove 2007 in the directory there are a number of different executable
files.

GrooveAuditService
GrooveClean
GrooveCSMViewer
GrooveGosOptimize

I have seen some reference to the GrooveClean but what does the other files
do? are they also utilities?

Dear Marc,

The GrooveAuditService is used to audit the client's information and then it
will do the following steps for us.

1:If your Groove account is a managed account, then your account's status
will be uploaded onto the related EMS server. (It is used to help developer
troubleshoting.)

2: When we use CSU to capture the detail information for troubleshooting,
then the cus application will use this GrooveAuditService to get the related
information.

The GrooveCSMViewer file is used to check the information which is captured
by CSU application.

GrooveGosOptimize is a tool to optimize the OS and let us use the Groove
better in the OS and it should only be used when we first try to install the
Groove onto the computer.

Best reagrds,
