Grouped by date

When I do a File Open in PowerPoint 2002, the files are grouped by date. I
would prefer no groups, just a simple list that I can sort as desired (by
name usually). Word and Excel have a simple list. Someone suggested I sort
by filename in Windows Explorer (which it was already) and I reset all the
folder options, but that didn't help. Does anyone have a suggestion? Thanks!

Hi Andy

In the file open dialogue box there is a little drop down menu that lets you
select different views - select 'details' then click on the 'name' heading.
Is that what you mean?

When I do that, they are grouped by date and then within date by filename.
