Have I missed something?

I clicked on the navigation pane, and only my home page is in it. Should all
my pages be in there? If I have totally messed up, it would not surprise me,
lol. If I need to add all my pages, how do I do that?

And, if you look at my home page http://www.rlblair.com/ and see the links I
have, do I need to start my navigation list with home, View the gallery, In
the news, Interesting links, contact us, and then the rest of my pages, or,
can I organize them any way I want?

I don't use the navigation in FrontPage, so I can't comment on this too much.

But, as a follow up to my other comments, I'd like to throw in a few others to think about
1. You might find the site map below (sitemap.html) more useful.

I have grouped the entries as they are on the home page followed by their order on the Gallery Page
The lines with folder images aren't necessarily folders but they are at a higher level than the lines under them

2. In the Gallery and lower levels you have references in this order
Home/Gallery/Contact Us/R.L. Blair/Disney/Bears/Spirit/Whimsical/Wildlife/Garden Arbor/ Tropical/Nautical/Indians/Cowboys/Photo
Album/Links

But on the Home page you have links in the order
Home/R.L. Blair/Gallery/News/Links/Contact Us
where the actual order of the lower levels in Gallery is:
Disney/Bears/Spirit/Nautical/Wildlife/Garden Arbor/ Tropical/Whimsical/Indians/Cowboys/Photo Album

Some of the descriptions don't match across pages, but they are similar (e.g. "R.L. Blair" vs. "R.L. Blair: Sculptor" and "Links"
vs. "Interesting Links")

Wouldn't it be more consistent to have the links as:
Home/R.L. Blair/Gallery/News/Links/Contact Us
on the pages "index.html", "about-rl-blair-htm", "wood-sculpture-gallery.htm", "news.htm", "links.htm", "contact-us.htm"
and
Gallery/Disney/Bears/Spirit/Nautical/Wildlife/Garden Arbor/ Tropical/Whimsical/Indians/Cowboys/Photo Album
on all the sculpture pages

The page "wood-sculpture-gallery.htm" and the lower level sculpture pages could also have a link back to the Home Page

WOW Trevor!!! WOW!!! Cool site map, and you are right, I havent been
consistant, I will fix that. Today, I have been adding 4 links at the top of
my pages, Home, Gallery, Sitemap, Contact Us. I also finished a site map,
but, I love the way you did the structure of yours with the lower levels,
verses mine. You have made it organized, I love organized! I have to go
back and reread your post again, I wanted to post this right away. Thank

Map" link on my Home page, in place of "RL Blair News" and adding "RL Blair
News" as a sublink under "About RL". What do you think?

They won't be there unless you added them. Did you add them and now it's
gone? Typically they won't be there unless you add them manually or used a
"web creation wizard" to start the site.

Yes, I thought about the Site Map link after I had posted. The other idea makes sense too. I assume you are OK with making these
changes. Once you see the structure of a <ul>, it is straight forward to alter it. However, let me know if you have problems.

BTW, I went for <>ul> rather than <dl> because of the automatic indentation. This is a matter of taste and can be altered.

I was wondering whether you left out "Links" from the links you are adding at the top.

Anyway, I will have a look at the site to see what you decide.

I have to go out soon to buy some wine for Sat dinner here in OZ (11 a.m. now) so I'll look at your sitemap. when I get back. But it
seems from your other post that you prefer the <ul> . As I say, it is all a matter of what *you* like.

P.S.
I'll know something about R.L. Blair now. I had never heard of him before. Perhaps I'm just an ignorant Australian, though :))

map, and mine, I like the 2 columns I have, and will be adding more pages
soon. I have a question if I may, I have taken "In The News" link off the
home page, and replaced it with "Site Map". I have made it a second page to
About RL, (click here at the bottom of the About RL page to go to News).
So, heres my question, would the News link on my site map page go at the top
left under About RL, or at the very bottom, with Site Map, Interesting Links,
Contact Us?
I hope that made sense:)

I think I understand the question. If I do, then I would suggest you set up the Site Map as:

R.L. Blair (or whatever you think as a title, i.e. use folder.gif)
About RL Blair (a link with file.gif)
News (a link with file.gif)

When you make the changes and put them up on www.rlblair.com I can be more definite

If you like you could put up your test sitemap with a name that is not linked on the website.
That way, we at the NG can look at it and make comments but it isn't a "production" page

I bought a Porgtugese Rosé (Casa Mendels) - quite nice and actually cheaper than Australian.
(maybe lesser quality)
