Hiding. I don't know
but you can move them on a different file

Under Outlook 2000
First create a personal psp file

On left pane, use right click to create a new folder
move some Email into it.

Then create a new .pst file
File > Import and Export > Export to new file .. (Ex hide.pst)
follow instruction and export the new folder just created
Note: This hide.pst file can be located anywhere

each time you want to hide Email
File > Open > Personal file .pst (Ex hide.pst)
move from "Received box" or "Send box" to the Hide.pst file
then on left pane "hide", right click > close

next user of the computer will not see your hidden email unless he
does the same Open and Close action

thanks curieux, BUT:

1) the folder (with subfolders) still show up normally visible (even though
also passwords have been set)
2) my Personal folder List is always open, because of a large research
ongoing project (about 400.000 kb)

is there another way?

regards
