How do I add contacts from contact back up?

Cheris

None of my contacts is in my contacts folder, it's in the back up. When I
tried to add a contact into my contacts folder, it pulls it in back up and I
am not able to view it in the contacts folder. Can someone help me to put my
contacts back in the right folder?

Clarify how you lost your Contacts and what you mean by "the back up."
Clarify how you are trying to restore the Contacts and exactly what happens
when you try. None of that is apparent from your post.

Well, I didn't lose my Contacts, but for some reason all my Contacts are in
my "Contacts Back Up" folder. The way I tried to restore my Contacts into my
Contact Folder was by copying it from the "Contacts Back Up" Folder and
inputting it into the Contact Folder. However, when I did that, it removed
the Contact I tried to restore back into the "Contacts" Folder and put it in
the "Contacts Back Up" Folder automatically.

Hopefully this is more clear. Thanks.

Not much. Outlook does not do this. You appear to have installed some sort
of third party backup utility. You'll need to identify what it is and how
you configured it. This is not an Outlook issue. It is an issue with
whatever add-in you installed.
