I love Publisher, however **DO NOT** do your resume in Publisher! Most
companies don't have Publisher to be able to read your file. Create it with
Word and also save it as a text file. This is coming from someone who just
spent 5 months sending out resumes to anyone who would read it!

With all due respect to our MVP, I see nothing wrong with creating a resume
in Publisher, so long as it is printed as a PDF for electronic delivery.

The problem is that to get a job these days you need to get your resume out
them top anyone/everyone who will look at it. I've NEVER seen a site that
will accept a .pub file and few will a .pdf file. Most want a .doc file or
plain text. And if you intend on using an agency, they will want the .doc
file so they can edit out your contact information and add their own.

Like I said, I love Publisher (more than most) but even I wouldn't do my
resume with it.
