How do I get the ##:##:## format in Word without typing the colons

I'm using a word table and wanted to know ifit's possible to get my numerical
text to appear in the ##:##:## format. Example of what I want:

I would like to type 012324
And have it appear as 01:23:24

I'm transcribing a lot and am trying to save myself some time.

Not in Word. You could use field formatting which would take even more time,
or a macro, but if you want automatic formatting you need to think Excel for
your table
