how do I show task duration in months instead of days

Can I add text at the end of each task bar to show the total number of man
months, but still keeping the duration in days in the main 'duration' column?

Yes.
Tools, Options, schedule, work is entered in months
Now through Bar Styles change the text at the right to Work
