How do I specify the location of the files I want reports on?

I have several projects on my hard drive. They use a common resource file.
I want to report only on specic projects (all located in a common directory)
without including projects in other directories (specifically I want to print
the 'Who Does What' report BUT ONLY FOR PROJECTS IN A SELECTED DIRECTORY -
NOT ALL THE PROJECTS ON MY HARD DRIVE). How do I set this up?

I am not using Project Server.

Hi Bill,

Welcome to this Microsoft Project newsgroup :)

You should probably set up a Master file for all your projects, sharing them
with the resource pool. Then you can filter to select the projects you want
to see. Both these procedures are explained in my series on Microsoft
Project in the TechTrax ezine, particularly #17 & 18 0n Multiple Projects
and my latest #22 Using Filters, at this site: http://tinyurl.com/2xbhc or
this:
http://pubs.logicalexpressions.com/Pub0009/LPMFrame.asp?CMD=ArticleSearch&AUTH=23
(Perhaps you'd care to rate the articles before leaving the site, :)
Thanks.)

FAQs, companion products and other useful Project information can be seen at
this web address: <http://www.mvps.org/project/>

Hope this helps - please let us know how you get on :)
