How do I update OfficeXP 'home use program'?

O

ovrrdrive

My Office XP is a copy that I got through the home use program at my work.
When I try to update it, it asks for the original CD to get a file, but then
it can't find the file on the CD.

Am I mising something?

I've tried several times and tried every trick in the book...

Hi Ovrrdrive,

Was the copy installed from that CD? What file is it
looking for? Be sure to check the 'use feature from'
box in the dialog to see if it's that same titled CD
or another one. You may be asked for other MS software
CDs when updating if the Installer finds a problem in
software it manages.
