How do I view Project tasks & dates in Outlook tasks & calendar

I want to be able to view dates created in Microsoft Project in my Microsoft
Outlook calendar and for individual resources (people) to be able to view
their Project allocated tasks in Outlook. I know you can easily transfer bulk
tasks from Outlook to Project. Can you easily transfer bulk tasks from
Project to Outlook and have them visible in the Outlook calendar?

Hello Sivre,

If you are using Project 2007, there is the Set Reminder option
located on the Tracking toolbar. If you are using a previous release,
you can export the tasks to Outlook, either going through Excel or a
VBA macro. Neither would be what I would term "easy", at least
initially.

If you search this newsgroup (microsoft.public.project) using google
groups, you should find several posts about exporting tasks to
outlook. One post begun on March 12, 2005 gives detailed steps for
both the export as well as some vba code to accomplish the export.
