How to Delete a folder

I had a folder in my folders and I deleted it ( I thought) Now when I
got to the option to move to folder that folder is still showing as a
place to move to. It does not show in the active folders list only the
move to.
I have searched the registry to no avail. I can not find a way to get
rid of this.
Can any one offer any help.
