How to indicate a specific date on a task?

I would like to see something similiar to a milestone on an already
existing task without adding any new tasks. Particularly, I have two
dates I want to see on the Gant bar that occur after the task has
started and before it ends. Anyone?

You can use any of the custom date fields to do this. Just create a
table with 2 of the custom date fields (i.e,. Date1 & Date2) in it,
then enter the dates you want.
Go to the Gantt Chart, select Format, Bar Styles and click on the Text
tab. Put Date1 and Date2 next to, above, below or inside the bar and
off you go.
