how to prevent dial up

Recently, upon opening my last saved presentation, my
computer autopmatically dials up an internet connection.
This had never happened before. can anyone pls help me?

The last (and only) time I heard of this was due to a graphic copied from a
Website. The user pasted normally into PowerPoint, which can paste HTML
coding as well. His presentation would then try to open some site in the
code. He should have first saved the graphic and then inserted it, or pasted
special as a picture.

Could that be it?
