How to revert back to 2003 after uninstalling 2007

I use now Office 2003 Pro and have just bought the 2007 Standard (upgrade
version). While I am waiting for my new machine that will arrive in a couple
of weeks time, I would like to try the 2007 on my present machine. When my
new PC arrives, I will then install the 2007 on it, but obviously have to
uninstall it from the old one. The old one goes to my daughter, and I'd like
to revert back to Office 2003 on that one. Will uninstalling 2007
automatically return the 2003, or do I have to repeat 2003 install after
2007 uninstall?

You will need to re-install Off2003 after removal of Off2007. You cannot downgrade by means of removing Off2007 and getting back version2003. You can if you had or have installed Office 2007 to a different folder from where Off2003 resides and if Off 2007 was not a Upgrade version but a retail one

Thanks Peter. I have now installed 2007, with an option to leave all
previous version except Outlook.
When I uninstall Office 2007 later on, I guess I'll only have to reinstall
Outlook 2003, while Word, excel and PowerPoint will continue there. Right?

What about activation? Will I have any problems to activate on another
machine?

Thanks for your answer, Peter.
Yeah I've read the EULA, but I always have this problem with the Legalese: I
am never sure that I haven't missed or misinterpreted something. It would
appear that I can uninstall the program from one machine, install it on
another one and reactivate. But it doesn't look logical though. If I were a
crook and left the original activated installation where it is, even after
the second (or n-th installation)who would know? That's what makes me doubt
that my reading of the EULA is correct. Is there more? Am I missing
something?

(1) Yes that is correct

(2)Did you read the Eula
