I am trying to create an electronic log book using SharePoint Services 2003.
I have created a log book by creating a list. The log book needs to have a
discussion feature with the capability of threads attached to each entry in
the log book.

Hi Brad,

There doesn't seem to be a nice clean way to include a discussion
directly into your list without some customization of the code.

However, you might want to try creating a Discussion and add a custom
column called Lookup. In the Optional Settings for the Lookup field
select your Log Book list from "Get information from" and select the
title.

It's not pretty, but it should work.

Do you know any customization of code to add the discussio to the list. If
so what would it be and how do I do it? I just do not want people to double
handle the information. They would have to fill the information in twice.
