I cannot open Winword in MS Office 2000. Excell, PowerPoint etc ar

I have been using MS Office 2000 for a long time and I never experienced any
problems. But suddenly I cannot open Winword - I get a message that there has
been an error in windword.exe, the program will close. You have to restart
the program. But same thing happens each time. Then I uninstalled MS Office
2000 and then again reinstalled. But still I cannot open Word. I don't know
what has happened. I didn't receive any error messages while reinstalling.
Please help me. Thanks a lot.
