i have a error 57E how do i solve that

I have word 2002 and it keeps crashing lately.
There are 4 updates:2 for word 2002 and 2 for windows XP, but I have windows
Vista, so I wonder why it tries to install XP?
Anyway it does not install all 4 and comes with a 57E error code.
How do I solve this?
