images won't save

images from my pic files won't save as embedded
files.
so images i want to post on web site
won't appear and picture address is my
local pic file on my computer.
i am using frontpage 2002 upgraded from 2000
works fine on 2000.
can,t find any fix or download.

How so? Do you not get the Save Embedded Files dialog
box, or do you get an error messge, or what?

Are you opening a FrontPage Web before editing your Web
page? Don just do a File Open on your single page; do an
Open Web on the folder that contains it.

Always File Import your images into a FP web before you use them

embedded dialog box doesn,t come up.
what i am doing is using
insert image from file.
and it doesn't save as embbeded files.
but as local file.

I ask again: are you opening a FrontPage Web before editing
your Web page? Don't just do a File Open on your single page;
do an Open Web on the folder that contains it.

Also, as Stefan has pointed out, you can avoid many problems
by first adding a picture to your Web site, and then adding
it to your page from that location.
