Importing another outlook PST file - contacts

J

Jeffrey

I have data from another outlook file. I need to import it but I do no
want to import it into my existing Outlook. How do I create a new fil
that will not merge or overwrite my existing data?
Once I do this - can I switch between data sets? I assume I will hav
a separate contact list. Please post response here and or write m
directly:

p.s. Much thanks

NEVER import a .pst file in Outlook! Use Outlook File->Open->Outlook Data
file. It will open the file as a secondary set of folders that you can
expand to drag and drop between your current .pst file folders.

But how do I ensure that the new data does not mix with my existin
data?

My existing Contacts has info such as friends, doctors, etc.

the second set of data has 400 business leads. I need to make sur
that if I import this set it does not merge with my personal info. Ho
do I create a second file that is separate. A file that I can switc
between both contact lists. Once again I thank you in advance for yo
help.
