Importing PST Backup File

I am trying to import my data from a previously exported
to a pst file, and i keep getting the same error "Error
copying file or folder - cannot copy data error (cyclic
redundancy check)" Please HELP - i've got a lot of data
that i b/u and now can't access. I'm running XP.

It seems very much like you have a harddrive error,
nothing to do with Outlook........
