impossible to use object linking and embedding

ei i have been getting this message everytime i try
opening any office application.is there any update about
that could fix this issue?i can't open ay files because
after clicking ok, the message telling me that the
application program has generated some errors and is
needed to be restarted.please advise. thanks.
