Inserting pdfs into presentations

I recently had Office XP installed onto my work computer, and I was hoping that the newer PowerPoint would allow me to insert Adobe Acrobat files (pdfs) into presentations. I have Office X installed on my home computer (a Mac) and I can perform this function with no problem. What do I need to do?
