Isn't there some sort of "Publisher Viewer"?

If there isn't,there ought to be! I don't have this program, but I need to
view a file someone sent me. Sure, they can re-save it in a different file
format, but why make it so complicated?

A cheaper and/or easier option would be to buy the Publisher Demo, which
expires and becomes a Viewer after 30 days.

That's ingenious! Will it continue printing after 30 days?

Yes.

From http://support.microsoft.com/?id=293151

Some of the limitations of reduced-functionality mode include the
following: . You cannot create any new documents.
. You can view existing documents but you cannot edit them.
. You can print documents but you cannot save them.

Sounds like a viewer to me - maybe with nags?

No, no nags - it's just the same as you'd get if you refused to activate a
full shop-bought version of Publisher.

What version of Publisher? If 2003 wouldn't it limit it to Windows
2000 and later?

True, but it's still an alternative to buying Publisher 2003, which would
have the same limitations but at a higher price.
