Keeping Word Consistant

How do I keep a Word 2002 document consistant for tohers who are using older
Word/Office products? I am using Office XP and the people who I am preparing
the document for are using Word 2000 and other products. When I few the
document on my computer it is formatted correctly, when they view it, it's a
mess.

You could try looking at Tools/Options/Save.

There's a control there that disables Word features introduced after a
specific version.

In my machine, these are (strangely) Word 97 and Word 6.0

If you choose Word 97, then you'll know that it'll work on earlier versions.
It just depends on how many fancy features you use when you're producing
documents.
