My daughter was using my computer the other day, and she must
have hit a combination of keys, because now whenever I “typeâ€
while on the internet, either mail, or just anything, as soon as
I hit the space bar, the cursor ends up in the address line and
anything that I typed shows up there. Also, when using Instant
Message, when the space bar is hit, the “print†screen shows
up………not sure what is going on and I have tried now for 2 days
to fix this. Any help you could give me would be greatly
appreciated. Also, I have typed this in “word†and now, for some
reason with word, I have to activate the “insert†key so that
each word typed doesn’t duplicate. I really appreciate your help.

Look at the Accessibilities Options folder in the control panel. Could be the sticky
keys are enabled or one of the other functions.

Remove the setting in your Keyboard. Go to Control Pane\Keyboard and select Restore Defaults under Key Settings

When I go to "Control Panel Keyboard, there is no "restore default settings"

Did you check under the Key settings Tab. What make and which driver are you using for the keyboard.? Can you post back with those answers please
